The Untold Birth of Diana

HERMES:
"I, HERMES, GIVE HER SPEED AND THE POWER OF FLIGHT!"


This set is a personal version of an unknown part of the like of Diana of Themyscira, better known as Wonder Woman: how she came to life. 

The original comics mentions it as she was made : Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, learns that she was the only one to be pregnant at the time of her first death and the gods then offer her a child. At sunrise, Hippolyte goes to the beach and forms a baby with clay, then is given life thanks to the last soul that remained in the Cave of Souls. 

Diana was born and received from the Gods special gifts. 

Demeter gave her power and strength, like that of the Earth itself;
Aphrodite gave her a great beauty and a loving heart;
Athena granted her wisdom;
Artemis gave her the eye of the hunter and unity with the beasts;
Hestia granted her sisterhood with fire - that it may open hearts to her;
Hermes gave her speed and power of flight.

And Hyppolyta honored her  with the name of a great and holy warrior: 
She shall be... Diana!
